Making NHL Hockey profitable
There are that the Nashville Predators have come up with a deal to die for. They have agreed a two year contract with Ryan Parent. The estimated cost has been put at nearly two million US dollars. At just twenty three Ryan Parent is very good in the defense position. This is done according to the rules of the restricted free agents. The player has been in this closure and therefore they had to follow the correct procedures in making the approach for the deal. The amount has been split into two payments with eight hundred and fifty US dollars in the first period. The second period will involve a payment of one million US dollars. There have been some complex trading moves with the upshot that the Philadelphia Flyers want to get Dan Hamhuis. They were therefore ready to compromise on different parts of the agreements.
The season for Ryan Parent has had its ups and downs. He has three points with the NHL goal. That was the first but we have to consider that he is just beginning his career and that tally will rise considerably with age. He has played forty eight games with the flyers in the previous season. However he was not on duty during January and February. The reason given was that he was just recovering from a back injury. In the seventeen playoff games that he participated in, he managed to contribute a goal as well as seven points. He has had his fair share of trading in 2005 when he was moved around in order to create room for Peter Forsberg within the Nashville section.
There is a new move for Leiweke to the Tampa bay. That will bring some new blood into the NHL Hockey and ensure that the teams do not become boring. This is a manager with great experience and tactical awareness. It is almost certain that he will bring some interesting initiatives to the team. The move has been well managed with none of the horrendous leaks that tend to happen when something is going on in NHL Hockey.
