The Struggle of the Rangers

The Rangers had never worked so hard to win the games that they play. They did their part in order to get their 3 wins. But it wasn’t the case in game 7.
During the game, the Rangers had it on their first ten minutes, where they scored even with their opponent. In the first period of the game, there was so much excitement. The Rangers scored 8 against 2 of the Capitals. Every goal was not easy; it was a product of hard work in the first six minutes of the game.
However the Capitals learned their lesson, they worked hard to get even with the Rangers, watching their strategies in game five and six, they out shot the Rangers with a 13-1 score in the third period. Nobody from the Rangers wanted to take a chance on the consequences they might face of getting the pucks into the net and nobody seems to be in control of the puck. The strategy of the Rangers play was in no way bringing the team into a win.
Overtime would have given the Rangers time to recover but then the game that Wade Redden played when he did not to step up on Sergei Fedorov led to the victory of the Capital Team. It was one wrong move that ended the game with the frustration on the Rangers fans.
However this is not the end of the Rangers career. They believe in two steps forward and a step backward in dealing with their play offs. And this was one step backward. They will try to fix whatever went wrong this season but they are determined to have a big comeback on the next play offs.
Will the Rangers learn from the result of games seven and be back with a winning strategy? Would they be able to solve the problem that they had this season to win their future battles? It is for us to find out as we wait for their comeback on September 2009.
